2007 Accomplishments
- Taught a semester course on interface design with Andrei Herasimchuk, at San Jose State University. » Read the syllabus
- Proposed a framework for the aesthetics of user experience at the IDSA World Design Congressin San Francisco/li>
- Spoke about interface design fundamentals at the annual Silicon Valley Codecamp. Some comments from reviewers: "Uday brought across a no-nonsense view of UI design that I could understand and work with...the talk provided great insights into the world of UI design in a short time".
- Traveled to Sydney and Melbourne, visited with 2nd Road, a "different kind of consultancy" focused on solving system-level design problems through the art of conversations
- Purchased a Canon Digital Rebel XTi, and thus started a passion for photography
- Attended An Event Apart Seattle
- Authored (with Involution Studios colleagues) two well-informed papers for DUX 2007 (sadly, not accepted for publication)
